Singapore then and now, why policy changes are needed now

Singaporean and new citizen read this post from Peter Choo that lay out the facts frankly about PAP Government then and now.

The contrast is shocking almost unbelievable but for senior citizens who lived through the LKY, GCT period of premiership, what Peter say is true and accurate. I have not spoken to LKY but interacted with GCT, LHL and his brother LHY at fairly close quarters.

What Peter say and feel is accurate:

” Singaporean life is not getting better with current team of government.

Currently our government placing wealth before citizens welfare.

I’m sceptical with PAP after our founding father LKY passing.
Cost of living did not come down. All taxes and so many others necessities (electricity, water, etc) concerning the lives of Singaporean all increased. Worst still, CPF cannot take all at 55.

LKY time no GST but never heard him saying country no money. Even GCT time for greater part also never complained no money.

Now with GST keep hearing govt say no $.

Where our money go???

The current government is “more concerned about money politics than the welfare of our citizens.

All of us need to vote out PAP if we want our life to get better than now.”
