PAP are losing voters due to their bad policies on Singapore and a poor economy

Law Minister K Shanmugam expressed worries about the ruling party PAP’s re-election chances stating that the poor economy and a number of problems in Singapore are influencing the voters.

The PAP millionaire minister was responding to the economic crash which saw the latest GDP quarterly result dipping 3.4%, while unemployment rate has been on the rise while the cost of living in Singapore is still relentlessly increasing.

Minister K Shanmugam hinted that the public trust in the PAP has wavered due to the poor economy:

“Singaporeans will be asking who they can trust to steer the city state through economic uncertainties when they go to the ballot boxes. An upheaval in trade and the impact on the economy could be among the top concerns of its citizens. People are following the news on US and China very closely, and they know that we can be affected.”
